Problem description:

Hi, I saw when I opened libreoffice today that there was a newer version available so I downloaded it and tried to install it.

This got so far then came up with error 1303 and something about permissions. Problem is I now have now access to libreoffice as previous version was removed as part of the installation process.

So now I can't access my documents, which is a BIG problem

My computer has a windows 7.

Operating System: Windows 7
Version: 4.2.4.2 release
Last worked in: 4.2.3.3 release

as an emergency version you may use the portable release from WinPenPack that doesn't require installation.

here's the link: http://sourceforge.net/projects/winpenpack/files/X-LibreOffice/releases/

Did you install the update using administrator account? Did you try to do a clean install?

Please go to the user mailing list or the ask site to get help about this. It's not a bug with the product as far as I can tell.
