Description Damaso 2024-04-23 07:49:24 UTC
Description:
Hello, when I use Writer with the list function, I can't assign an individual color to each list number, as they all have the same color. Also, when I change the fill color of the list numbers, it's then impossible to change it to another color or restore it. Please fix this issue. I am sending the file where I encountered this error.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.create a ordered list of items using numbers
2. change the background color of the numbers of the list (only the numbers - not the itema)
3.try to restore the background color of the numbers of the list and nothing happens

Actual Results:
numbers of ordered list dont change the background color after the firts change

Expected Results:
change the backgroud color of the numbers of the ordered list

Reproducible: Always

I think you need to review the documentation about work with list.
Chapter 12 about list.
https://documentation.libreoffice.org/es/documentacion-en-espanol/writer/
there is also a very good book about writer:

I think the problem stems from the fact that you are not using the styles to get the table of contents, nor are you applying them to the numbering, which you seem to have done by direct formatting using the icons in the bar.

You are going to have to study a little bit the Writer documentation that I indicated in comment #2. On page 13 it tells you how to modify the character style of the list.

You can also do the query at https://ask.libreoffice.org/c/spanish/10

LIST ORDERED BUG DONT CHANGE BACKGROUD COLOR

This is the issue described in bug 158879, marking as duplicate.

This difference is because using the sidebar's Highlight button without text selected turns the cursor into an "apply formatting" cursor.
Bug 158879 talks about the difficulty to select the bullets/numbers in the way that would allow applying the direct format.
