Created attachment 174366 [details] Example file from Word with square and tight wrapped images in header/footer When an image is relatively positioned to page (i.e. Move object with text is OFF) and partly positioned outside of the page area, this setting is imported correctly from DOCX. However if the same image is placed in the header/footer, the setting is not always imported correctly and the image is entirely inside the page area. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open attached files that have examples with all six wrap types for images partly outside of the page area, compare to Word. The examples are in compatibility mode 14, behavior is a bit different in compatibility mode 15. Actual results: Image-square-tight-wrap_C14.docx: No bleed margin in header/footer for square wrapped image (top) and Tight wrapped image (bottom). Text is behind the image in the footer, instead of being in front of it. Image-through-topbottom-wrap_C14.docx: No bleed margin in footer for Top and Bottom wrapped image (bottom). The Trough wrapped image in header is overlapping the text. Image-behind-front-wrap_C14.docx: No bleed margin in footer for In front of text wrapped image (bottom). Expected results: Image-square-tight-wrap_C14.docx: Bleed margin should be allowed in header/footer for square wrapped image (top) and Tight wrapped image (bottom). In the document body bleed margin is not allowed in Word for these two wrap types, this works fine in Writer. Text should be in front of the image in the footer. Manually enabling the “In Background” property in the footer fixes the layout. Image-through-topbottom-wrap_C14.docx: Bleed margin should be allowed in footer for Top and Bottom wrapped image (bottom). The Trough wrapped image in header is overlapping the text, the “In Background” property should be enabled. Image-behind-front-wrap_C14.docx: Bleed margin should be allowed in footer for In front of text wrapped image (bottom). The In front of text wrapped image in footer is overlapping the text, the “In Background” property should be enabled. Sorry for the many example files and cases, this report started with analyzing the example file of bug 112855 after seeing here that bleed margin is somewhat supported in docx import: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=140106#c2 and then things spun out of control a bit :).
I confirm it with Version: 7.2.0.3 (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 2a7ea282da28d665a7dc086360567b4aea27bf08 CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19043; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: en-GB Calc: CL But I don't know, which compatibility mode I use. I can't find anything in Tools => Options = LibreOffice Writer => Compatibility
