Description Nicolas Christener 2019-12-04 21:00:04 UTC
Description:
While change tracking works in the Android app the info box showing the changes made is a bit of a mess. The autor information is not correct and it seems that the avatar points to a non existing image.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create/open a writer document in the Android app
2. Enable change tracking and create some modifications
3. Check the content of the info box that is shown

Actual Results:
The autor name is shown as "LocalHost#1" the avatar/profile picture is missing.

Expected Results:
Either don't show the autor name or use the one provided Android (if there's an API for that).

Either don't show the avatar/profile picture at all or create one out of the initials of the user.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Tested with the build from 2019-12-03 on Android 8.1.8

Thw Android as well as the iOS app should have an app setting where the user can insert some basic information which can then be accessed by the app. Much like how it's done in the desktop version where one can insert things like Name, Address, etc. in the settings dialog of LibreOffice itself.

Maybe it can be done in the app itself or using the system provided app settings functionality.

This is fixed in the recent version of the Collabora Android app. Let's close this issue.
