Description david.cortes.rivera 2019-05-13 15:38:26 UTC
Steps to reproduce:
* Write some text in a plain text editor using tabs as indentation for some lines.
* Paste said plain text into LO Writer.
* Copy that same text, but this time from LO Writer.
* Paste that text into somewhere else outside of LO that would allow rich text formatting, such as webmail services from gmail or yahoo.

Quick example:
a
	b
		c
d

Expected behavior: should preserve the indentation as tabs, or convert those tabs to 4 spaces each.

Actual behavior: removes the indentation completely.

I cannot confirm with Version: 6.3.0.0.alpha1+
Build ID: 53325b40b557cc84d8d21c1baa0ef8d3bfc00ab8
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 4.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3;
and gmail (firefox)

Can also confirm that the linux version is unaffected (6.1.5.2).

Repro OO and LO 6.4+ in Windows with paste to Gmail.
In Gmail, it looks so, because bold is kept while indentation is not.
So I'll confirm.

Note: in MSO it is not "when pasting as rich text". If we paste special in MSO as rich text or Keep Text only, indentation is there. If HTML or Keep source or Merge formatting, no indentation.
