Description Grumpyoldman 2019-05-12 10:07:16 UTC
Description:
An e-mail has asked for further information but I do no have any beyond what I have already submitted. I will try to find more if told what is wanted - but I am no expert. Please note! I only load software/updates from the repository when prompted by Sylvia's automatic update facility. No non-repository software is present on my computer.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Double-click LibreOffice icon on desktop.
2.Double-click any of the displayed documents to open.
3.Close document and repeat if computer does not crash.

Actual Results:
It would appear that any document will cause the fault, although a few different ones may have to be tried before it occurs. 'Few' normally means less than five. The fault can always be reproduced in no more than a minute or two. There is no evidence that only certain documents are involved. The fault appears random. No change in this problem has been observed since it was first reported. Failure is guaranteed. The fault is so hard as to render the LibreOffice desktop icon unusable. If it is avoided, Libre Office 5 runs fairly normally with no more then the occasional peculiarity which is generally not difficult to accommodate. When the fault occurs, the screen goes blank as the computer instantaneously crashes. After some time it will reboot with a request for re-entry of the password. No error messages are displayed.

Expected Results:
The requested document should always open for editing.

Reproducible: Always

Please don't create a new bugtracker to respond to a comment.

Last comments from https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=120346 are clear, 5.1.6 are old versions, the goal is to know if you reproduce this with a recent LO version. (last ones are 6.1.6 for 6.1 branch and 6.2.3 for 6.2 branch).
To obtain them you can add Ubuntu ppa repository (I let you Google about this if you don't know how to do add it).
