### Steps to Reproduce 1. Open a new document in LibreOffice Writer 2. Under Format > Page Style, set text direction to "right-to-left (vertical)" and set orientation to "landscape" 3. Input two lines of arbitrary text 4. Go to the end of the first line, and hit enter to start a new line between the two lines 5. Input text on the new line using an IME with a suggestion window ### Actual Result At this point, the text on the line to the left of the cursor disappears. The text itself is still present (the cursor can be moved over the text), but is not rendered. It remains invisible after finishing IME text input. The text becomes visible again if the window is minimised and then restored. ### Expected Result Text input using an IME should not cause other text on the page to disappear. ### Environment OS: Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS - new install - I believe the IME is ibus-mozc (ibus version 1.5.26-4) LibreOffice 7.3.7.2 (installed via snap) Please let me know if any other information is required.
Thank you for the report, Rob. Could you please test version 7.5 and let us know if you can still reproduce the issue? The 7.3 branch won't see further releases.
Hello Stéphane, I've upgraded to version 7.5 and am unable to replicate the bug as described here. I'll mark as resolved for now and re-open if I'm able to replicate it again. Thanks!
Thanks Rob. As we're unsure what fixed it, let's mark as "resolved - works for me". Thanks!
