Description Ben van der Merwe 2016-03-23 16:02:54 UTC
I love the Math Editor and that you can paste MathML into it. However, to get MathML out again, you need to save the equation as a MathML file, open it in an editor, and then copy it from there.

If you edit a lot of equations that are in another tools that supports MathML, then it is very convenient to be able to copy and paste MathML.

So please add this option? it should be readily doable as the Save As option supports MathML, so you just need a menu option and to put it in the clipboard instead.

Please?

Note that there is an existing "Tools", "Import MathML from Clipboard" option. A matching "Paste MathML to Clipboard" is what I would very much like.

I guess to be consistent the new option should be called "Export MathML to Clipboard". Thanks.

I'll echo all of the above. This feature would be amazing when working with web based learning platforms such as moodle. Just export MathML to clipboard and then paste into Moodle's edit box. Currently the flow is save-as mathml, open the exported doc with text editor, copy and then paste into moodle.
