Print screen of error during Installation of 5.0.3.2

Cannot install the Torrent or the Windows version of the latest release 50.3.2. It keeps asking for a 5.0.1 directory. Please see attached.

@Dan,

This is not a LibreOffice packaging issue, this is an issue on your Windows system.

Of course we'll assume that you verified the HASH value for the installer packaging your grabbed from Torrent and downloaded. You can directly obtain the correct HASH for any of the release builds in the "details" link on the archive site here--http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

Suspect you'll find the HASH value do match, but best to check.

You'll notice in the screen shot that the error is while "Removing applications", and that Microsoft Installer is looking for the prior package.

It suggests one way to proceed, that is to completely remove your existing installation of LibreOffice outside of the upgrade. So, use the Windows Appwiz.cpl, or a 3rd party uninstaller like CCleaner or Revo to force it off.

If you have items in your existing LibreOffice Profile--"C:\Users\Dan\AppData\Roaming\LibreOffice"--rename it to restore it later, otherwise delete the folder.

Get the old version completely removed. Reboot. Then try an install again--this time clean.

That should get you over the speed bump. Let us know if a clean install resolves things.
