Highlight a word or phrase and make it Bold - works fine, but after I save and re-open the document the word/phrase is no longer bold.
I don't reproduce it under Win8.1 x64 using LibO 5.0.1.2 does it happen with any file or with some specific file or extension? would you please provide a test file?
Created attachment 118665 [details] the document that caused the error OK, the error doesn't appear in the current document (attached) as this is saved as a word 2007-2013 document. The error seems to have occurred when I inadvertently saved it as Word 2003 XML doc.
I tried the .docx you provided and made some text bold and saved either as .doc or .xml but I don't see any filesave issue. are you still able to reproduce the bug? if yes, please give a step by step description
OK, try this: create a Text file using Libreoffice. 1. type the following four lines with the second line being blank: Test test2 test3 2. highlight test2 make it Bold 3. save as Word 2003 XML doc on One drive 4. Close Libreoffice 5. open Libreoffice 6 Click on the Test document and the bold formatting has gone I hope that works for you. I have to say I hadn't realised that I'd saved it to one drive, I hadn't intended it. Also not sure how Word 2003 XML is my default, I've now changed it. So, maybe a weird set of circumstances that no one else will have but worth knowing I guess. Thanks for all your great work. Paul
I still don't reproduce your bug however I don't have OneDrive to test... I saved the file under DropBox and no bold issue exists is the bug specific to OneDrive saving or not?
please answer questions in my previous comment consider upgrading to 5.0.2.2 too
Sorry Tommy, I missed your last comment. I only use OneDrive, but I've just tried it on GoogleDrive and that seems to work OK, So looks as though it's only this particular set of circumstances using onedrive. Paul
