Description Richard Johnson 2015-07-30 15:16:12 UTC
Hi

I am having the following problem starting any application within libre office. The following error appears in a dialog box entitled LibreOffice 4.4 -Fatal Error

The program cannot be started. The service manager is not available. ("InvalidRegistryExemption: file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/LibreOffice%204/program/services/servicesrdb: duplicate <implementation name="com.sun.star.comp GraphicExportDialog">" Start setup application to repair the installation from CD, or the folder containing the installation packages

I tried reinstalling 4.4.4.2 This did not help. I have now tried installing 4.4.4.3 but this has not corrected the error

I am running windows 7 Home Premium Service pack 1 on a Samsung RF 711 with 8 G of ram i7-2670QM and 1.75 TB of drive space across 2 drives.

Any ideas on how to resolve this problem.

Thanks

Have tried deleting the user profile and unistalling and re-installing LibreOffice. Still getting the same error message

In AskLibO there are lots of similar reports, which were all solved by resetting user profile. However, there is only one exact match and the reporter never replied, how it went: http://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/43299/libre-office-crashes-after-update-from-433-to-434/

try doing a complete uninstall, purge the user profile and install LibO 4.4.5.2

also tell exactly which was the first version causing the problem.... 4.4.2 as written in the summary or 4.4.4 as in comment 0
