This issue is with regards to displaying some scan driver option in Libre Office.

Issue:
Advances Imaging options like Color Dropout , Bakground Removal, Mirror \ Negative Image are missing in Libre Office.

Desription:
We have implemented the above features in our Scan driver and are able to see the features properly from Xsane application.

Please refer image 1

We are not able to find the advance imaging features in Libre Office however features like brightness and contrast are there.

Please refer image 2

We did try to search for these features in other scan applications like gscan2pdf and were able to see the features.

Please refer image 3

Thanks,
Aveek

How do you think it is possible for QA tester to reproduce and a LO developer to fix this problem? If you do not provide your scan driver, it is impossible to test it in LibreOffice.

Do you know a scan driver having these advanced features that LO scan function can see?

So, I think you should ask on the dev channel where to look in the LO code to see if the problem is in your code or in LO code.

Best regards. JBF
