Description epicstar 2015-07-08 14:32:12 UTC
OS: Linux Mint 17.2

It seems that when I make a new docx then use the document formatting, the file turns into a preformatted text when saving to a computer with SFTP and nemo or samba and nemo. It's caused me a lot of pain since I'm doing research projects that need to be in a certain format......

Steps to reproduce:
1. create README.docx on nemo from a SFTP'd or Samba'd computer
2. copy paste formatted text to the new README
3. Save
4. close
5. re-open
6. document is in preformatted text mode with no format at all and in Liberation Mono
7. cry because boss is mad that the readmes are hard to read

I'll see what other tests I can do...

Thanks for your bug report. Unfortunately I couldn't reproduce this using Samba on Ubuntu.
Since some time has passed, can you try it with the most recent LibreOffice 5.1 release?

Also, does saving locally, and copying over to the server work as a workaround?
Adjusting severity to normal for now.
