steps to reproduce:

reproducible with LibO 4.4.3.2 under Win8.1 x64 and older releases at least up to 3.4.3

issue is not present in LibO 3.3.4

just happens with A1 cell, anyway once you digit something the black square goes away.

so I see it as a minor visual glitch and I lower priority

Does not occur anymore. Tested with 5.0.5.2 and 5.1.3.2.
