Document browser in the middle of a list

Whilst using the android browser it is rather unclear to which folder icon the folder name belongs. On the top and bottom this is clear, as is the case when documents have a more elaborate name. Looking at a list of folders somewhere in the middel of the list, the label is actually closer to the folder below the label, thus adding to this incorrect connection.

As there is no indication about the current path (which is a different bug), it is hardly possible to determine whether or not the right folder has been chosen.

A solution could be in reducing the spacing between folder and related label, using a box to clearify the relationship, or by placing the text on top of the icon.

(observed on Android 5.0.1 on a Nexus 5, installed via F-Droid)

Nico, thanks for your bug report. I believe this one is already fixed:

“android: Avoid big amount of space below the icons.”

I don’t know how frequently the app is updated in F-Droid…

In the short There have been two F-Droid released on 14-02 and 06-02. The release on which this report is based is 4.5.0.0.alpha0+/3f1713b

I'm not sure if the reduced spacing is enough of an improvement, but if it isn't I'll create another bug-report when I have further remarks.

Is indeed fixed in the update that has just been installed on my phone.
