Description computaquark 2015-02-02 22:53:37 UTC
Irish language interface is inoperative. When selecting Irish for the interface after restart Libre Office always reverts to English (USA) after restart. Product is Libre Office Portable.

Hi Computaquark,
Is there Irish language support for the portable version? (For the desktop version, we have the language packs, etc..)

Does the same problem happen with the desktop version of 4.4.0.3?

Status -> NEEDINFO

(please change status back to UNCONFIRMED after you test w/the desktop version. Thanks!)
Comment 2 computaquark 2015-02-03 17:39:29 UTC
I am not using the current desktop version of Libre Office. I was using the the previous desktop version of Libre Office and the Irish language interface was available and functioned correctly. An option to use the Irish interface is available in Libre Office Portable but as I mentioned the software defaults to English (USA) on restart. I have downloaded the All Languages version of Libre Office Portable. I will download and install Irish Language pack, for desktop version, and attempt a portable install.

Can't reproduce using the portable LibreOffice installs: 4.4.5 and 5.0.2

I used the portable versions from this page: https://www.libreoffice.org/download/portable-versions/

System:
Windows 10 64-bit

I will close this bug.
If you are still experiencing this bug, please report this to PortableApps.com; They are responsible for the portable version of LibreOffice:

I am going to remove, temporarily, all the other locale files to see if there is solution. I will report back.

Hi Computaquark,
Any update on the testing? Thanks!

Status -> NEEDINFO
Comment 7 computaquark 2016-01-19 11:38:05 UTC
No, so far I have no solution.
Comment 8 computaquark 2016-01-19 11:40:36 UTC
It looks like I would have to build the dictionary myself. From the locale file I should be able to add more menu translations, etc.
