Problem description: 

Spell check is not working. Language selection options in not working in impress only.

Steps to reproduce:

3. ....

Current behavior:

Expected behavior:

              
Operating System: Ubuntu
Version: 4.2.0.4 release
Last worked in: 4.1.4.2 release

does this means that it works in Writer and Calc?

did you try resetting the user profile?

I do not reproduce on the same OS. No answer from reporter since 2 months. Closing as WorksForMe. Please, feel free to reopen if you still experience the problem with current 4.2.x version (currently 4.2.3).
