Problem description: in the new version 4.2.0.4 of Libreoffice Base the criterion "IS NOT NULL" in any query doesn't work any longer. Error : "The syntax is too complex". tiju72: which DB do you use? (embedded hsqldb, Firebird Mysql, ...)
On pc Debian x86-64 with 4.2 sources updated some days ago, I gave a try with a brand new hsqldb embedded db, it was ok.

Have tested with an old test-database. Works as expected. My system: OpenSUSE 12.3 64bit rpm with LO 4.2.0.4.
