Description Martin Senftleben 2013-12-22 16:51:18 UTC
Problem description:

Steps to reproduce:
1. open a document
2. alter its contents
3. close it by clicking on top right close button
4. LibreOffice asks whether it shall save changes. Click on yes
5. the changes are being saved, but the document will not be closed

Current behavior:
As described in the reproduction steps. I'm not sure if it really happens to all documents, but I have observed it almost every time, which is very often. I am not sure if this happens in calc as well. Haven't tested it there.

Expected behavior:
When clicking on the close button and confirming to save the contents, the document should be closed after saving the changes.

Operating System: Ubuntu
Version: 4.1.3.2 release
Last worked in: 4.1.2.3 release

So either Linux only or indeed fixed in newer LO version.

Martin could you try 4.2.0.1? http://www.libreoffice.org/download/pre-releases/

Setting to NEEDINFO until more detail is provided.

After providing the requested info, please reset this bug to UNCONFIRMED or set it to WORKSFORME, should the issue indeed be fixed with the newer release. Thanks :)
Comment 4 Martin Senftleben 2013-12-23 14:43:57 UTC
I'm sorry, but since the number of problems with LibreOffice was increasing, I switched to OpenOffice and will not spend time to test this bug with newer versions of LibreOffice. None of the bugs which I reported earlier have been fixed, but new ones have been added. The switch to AOO has solved all the problems which I had using LO.
Thanks for your efforts and please accept my apologies for the trouble.
