Description Samuel Mehrbrodt (allotropia) 2013-04-25 11:52:34 UTC
When I use the "Send Document as E-Mail" option, Thunderbird will open, but it has no Attachment.
Regardless whether the document was saved before or not.

OS: Ubuntu 12.04 64bit, Thunderbird 17.0.5
Comment 1 Robert 2013-04-26 07:45:49 UTC
Same here on fresh install of Ubuntu 13.04 64 bit. No matter which option I choose, Thunderbird always opens new mail with filename in subject and without file attached to it.

2. !save the file!
3. file --> send --> Document as E-Mail

Very weird, works fine for me, tested:

Bodhi Linux
Thunderbird 17.0.5

LibreOffice:
Version 4.0.2.2 release
Version 4.1 master pulled just a few days ago

Tried:
Sending unsaved document = worked fine
Save document - do not close - send document = worked fine
Save document - close document - open document - send document = worked fine
Save document - close thunderbird - send document = worked fine
Comment 5 Samuel Mehrbrodt (allotropia) 2013-05-07 21:34:47 UTC
This has been fixed sometime after the release of 4.0.
In a recent Master this works for me (tm).

So I'm marking this as fixed.
