Sample ODS file

Problem description:

I am using LibreOffice 3.6.2 on Lubuntu x64 and Calc has a bad performance while opening an ods spreadsheet.

The file is attached. It has just simple entries with 2 sheets;
- 3 cloumns and 5.000 rows
- 2 cloumns and 2.500 rows only.

While having bad performance long opening time, freezing on cursor movements, not responding, high cpu usage etc... Gnumeric is very fast and very very flent while opening and editing.

On Windows side, it is better. But what makes Gnumeric faster than Calc?

(It has been more than five minutes during this bug submission but it couln't open it yet :()

Current behavior:
Bad performance

Expected behavior:
Better performance

Operating System: Ubuntu
Version: 3.6.2.2 release

Try opening this in 4.0. For me it opens in less than a second. Same result in 3.6.5.

Hi,

I figured that this is caused by the TR spellchecker and Java in Linux distro.

Sorry for the mess.

I am closing with the invalid tag.

Best regards,
Zeki
