Could you give a try to LO 3.5.4 ? (if needed with a brand new LO profile, see http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile) If you reproduce it, would it be possible you attach the file ?
hi. I install yesterday the last version of LO , I will check if it is 3.5.4. I Try to attach the file , but was bigger than system posibilities, but I will try to compress it and atach. Thank you
IN fact my vertion is 3.542 Yesterday I have experience another data lost . I realize that another common situation is when I have several programs open , and more than a LO file open ¿may be is a RAm issue? I have only 1 Gb RAM

About RAM, could you monitor RAM used at these moments : - no application is opened - you launch Libreoffice (without the file) - you try to load the file ? About the file, you can upload file on this link : http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/Bugzilla-Attachments (or send it to me if you want) so we can try to reproduce the problem.
I answered you by email (with another file), hope you received it cause it's quite heavy. To sum up, I had problem to open it so I tested with zip tools and found some errors. I fixed them with "zip -FF" command then it seemed ok. (I sent you the file fixed) As I said on the mail, a thing to do may be : - export 3 tables (or 2 since one of them is empty) on csv - save queries - I don't know how to save forms or reports :-( then recreate a brand new file with them. Now I don't know what to do to investigate more :-(
What version of Java do you use? I had simmular problem after updating to JRE 7. Installing back to JRE 6.33 solved my problem.
I found a command which may help (make a backup of your file first). "Tools" menu, "SQL", then execute this command : SHUTDOWN COMPACT In brief, it cleans up the database. (see http://hsqldb.org/doc/1.8/guide/ch09.html#shutdown-section for more information)
I forgot to add that you must close then reopen the file after having this. You can also try "CHECKPOINT DEFRAG". I read the docs but don't know if "SHUTDOWN COMPACT" "includes" in a way what does "CHECKPOINT DEFRAG".

Thank you Juliet .I will Try . At the moment what I do was to save the file as an old file and use every day a clean, without data , new database.
Eduardo: any update about this case ?
(In reply to comment #11) > Eduardo: any update about this case ? Well, before to receieve the last post, I decide to reduce the size of the database file, puting old saved data in a new file, and work with a new one . That was a solution , because I have not experience any crush again, So the file size was part of the problem .
Is it ok for you since you created the new file ?
