Description Rainer Bielefeld Retired 2011-10-03 00:24:27 UTC
Server installation of Master "LibO-dev 3.5.0 – WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) English UI [(Build ID: 3b32204-7f92fce-2ba0a9f)]" crashes when using Keyboard cell merging function

Steps to reproduce:
1. open sample0.odt from "Bug 41411 - LOCALHELP EDITING WRITER
TABLE: Keyboard insertion/deletion of rows, columns, cells
   description incomplete
2. Click 'C3'
3. <Alt+Del> for 3 seconds, then <Control+Rightarrow>
   Expected: Cell merge
   Actual: Crash

Same with <Control+Leftarrow>
Also visible with later master Versions, works with 3.4.3
Only Crash for <Control+Leftarrow> with Server installation of Master "LibO-dev 3.5.0 – WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) English UI [(Build ID: f952331-4eb4f62-09af278)]"

Both crashes with Server installation of Master "LibO-dev 3.4.5 – WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) English UI
[(Build ID:d337f79-a24c961-2865670-9752b71-7f8fd43

NOT reproducible with parallel installation of Master "LibO-dev 3.5.0 – WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) English UI [(Build ID: 308b7a2-e916bf9-9c6ea62-e1a2fb3)] (daily/MinGW_cross-compilation 2011-10-18_22.56.49)"

[No Reproducible] with "LibreOffice 3.4.4 - Ubuntu 11.10 (64bit) Spanish
UI"

No crash, and the merging cell process is ok.

[Not Reproducible] with LibreOffice 3.5.2.2 - Debian 6.0.3 squeeze (32bit)
Catalan UI

[Not Reproducible] with LibreOffice 3.5.2.2 - Win XP (32bit) Spanish UI

It workw well, and in addition you don't need to press <del>, only with <Alt> + <arrows> or <Alt> + <Ctrl + arrow> you will get the same results.
Comment 6 Rainer Bielefeld Retired 2012-04-25 07:49:45 UTC
No longer reproducible with "LibreOffice 3.5.3.1 (RC1) German UI/Locale [Build-ID: 21cb047-d7e6025-9ba54fc-b4a51a8-f42372b] on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit), also not with 3.5.0RC2. Might have been a User Profile issue or whatever? I close this one for now.

Without Del it only resizes column or cell. And we want to merge (two cells become one).
