I have tested todays build of LO git master. The soffice wrapper prints the following error messages:

--- cut ---
$> /opt/libreoffice/program/soffice
chdir: No such file or directory
fopen: No such file or directory
--- cut ---

I used build with options from build/distro-configs/LibreOfficeLinux.conf.in
