Description: Error in the print area in Writer. When selecting the print area under "Area and copies" and then under "Selection", the selected area in the text is displayed and printed incorrectly. It is always displayed at the top edge of the page. Regardless of where the text is located in the document. If the text is arranged in columns on a page, a separate column cannot be printed correctly. Note: It should actually work in the same way as WordPerfect X3 (has not been around for 20 years). I select a text and in the printer menu the selection must already be marked (and not "all pages") and in the print preview it must be displayed and then printed in exactly the same way. and then printed exactly as it appears on the screen. Writer will print the selected text at the to of the page. If I only mark one column of a table it will expand the column to the whole width of the page. Think this is a valid feature request: If a part of a document is selected the content should be printed the same way it appears in the document. Don't know if it should also appear at the same position… Might be we could add a checkbox "Print as embedded in page" or something like this.
