LO 7.4 (and newer) supports up to 2^20 (1048576) rows.

XLSX and ODS file formats, when saved with LO 7.4 (and newer), can save that amount of rows.

But the XLS file format supports up to 2^16 (65536) rows, no matter which spreadsheet tool you would use.

This is not a bug.
