Description Harald Berger 2024-03-08 13:33:13 UTC
=== German===

=== English ===
Writer, incorrect jump to the File menu.
In Writer, the "S" for "Save" is underlined in the "File > Save" menu.
Consequently, the keyboard shortcut Alt+D+S should jump to "Save" or trigger it.
However, selecting the keyboard shortcut Alt+D+S jumps to File > Close (without execution).

Harald Berger,

Alt+D highlights the address bar in your web. Can you try Ctrl+S to save?

Thanks,

Yes, Ctrl+S opens the Save as... dialog!

Alt+D opens the File menu in LibreOffice Writer!

Alt+F opens the File menu

please use Alt+F+S to save file.

Harald: in case of duplicate accelerators, you can keep hitting the key (S in this case) while keeping Alt pressed and it will jump to the next ones. But it is of course not nice to have duplicates. I can't test with German UI right now, but hopefully someone else can soon.

Danke für deine Informationen (Workaround).

I rarely use keyboard shortcuts myself.

I discovered the problem because I have translated manuals and I usually test directly in the program whether the described procedure works.

Thanks again, though.
