Description Sharky Lion's 2024-02-29 14:44:00 UTC
Description:
I have User Function "FUN" with in cell sintax "=FUN(celladdress)". (VBA)
I spend some times to find many troubles when integrated it.
This function is not available in MS and Libre Offices.
____________
Instruction:
Make a library, make a module, put code in module. - Drivel!
************
I put code to Standard library and miracle!

But troubles are coming next...

original file in .xlsx
When open original file without function code in Standard Module, all function names in used cells, LO changed from "FUN" to "[1]!FUN"
and all formulas with FUN function has crashed.

If u thought everything was fine with the .ods, u are mistaken!
When open .ods file without function code in Standard Module (first user reaction - clik and open), all function names in used cells, LO changed from "FUN" to "fun"
and all formulas with FUN function has crashed.

OK! Maybe copy-paste none formulas with FUN function Data make my day?
"OK?-OK..." - say LO and crash autoformatting rules...

***LO crash formatting options when load xlsx file and seve it to ods, but work true and put correct colour to cells without big changes. If New Data dropdown out of old Data range. Colour schema has change to crashed state rules. And don't logic! some cells in red, some cells in yellow, but original rules put it in one colour - hilight green!

And last... U are understood. All users if they need to open my file for reading are fall down to hell.
* First circle in hell like MS. Find option "add" in menu and +2 trouble from LO-hell (open second window one on one like previous, WHY?! and dont have stendard folder for library(!)) and finish like MS - select the file +trouble from LO-hell (2 files in target folder, WHY?!) //Add-in's different song/
* Next level in hell (MS finished this procedure with three mouse clicks. Select, ok, ok.). Move Module from User library to Standard library. Small, light break before the next hell lap.
* And Final lap. I have already written it. Briefly: "FUN to fun" or "FUN" to "[1]!FUN" reverse changing.

That's all folks!

Steps to Reproduce:
1.make a function in MS excel, worked like formulas ("=function(celladdress)")
2.make a list with some thouthend working formulas witn this function and add some autoformatting rules
3.save this file
4.open this file in LO
5.follow previous instruction in Description to add function and repeat all troubles

I forgot to wright.
In this place:
"original file in .xlsx
When open original file without function code in Standard Module, all function names in used cells, LO changed from "FUN" to "[1]!FUN"
and all formulas with FUN function has crashed."

With function "FUN", all formulas with FUN function has crashed too... when open .xlsx
