Description:
Writer 24.2 snap (newly installed on two different computers: old 2015ish MacBook Pro and new MSI Katana) opens an email with the subject line listing the document name (of the Writer doc in use.) But it fails to attach the document. Writer 7.3.7.2 does. But Ubuntu software updates lists everything but LibreOffice 24.2 as potentially unsafe, thus the desire to update.


Steps to Reproduce:
1.open a document (blank will do) in Writer
2. Select File>Send>Email Document
3. Pray (it won't help though)

Actual Results:
email opened up with the subject as the appropriate name (of the document open in Writer).
No file is attached.

Expected Results:
opened and email with the appropriate doc name as subject AND
with that file attached (ready to send after filling in the recipient's email address)

Happened on both the older Macbook Pro 13" circa 2015
and the new MSI Katana (i9? Intel chip)
Both running Ubuntu
On the Mac I uninstalled the old 7.3.? LO, installed 24.2.03, result: new profile. Problem appeared first time. Copied old profile in place. Problem still. uninstalled, reinstalled. problem remains. Left it.
On MSI: installed 24.2 without uninstalling 7.3. Things got wacky (don't remember exactly, reinstalled Base in there from the command line). Uninstalled 24.2. Did command line uninstall and purges, Ubuntu Software reinstalled 24.2. And here it got really interesting: all LO 24.2 installed along with a duplicate of Writer 7.3.7.2? At least that Writer 7.3 still attaches documents correctly to email.
