I think it is an OS issue on the task bar, LibreOffice doesn't have a bar at the bottom with the recent files.
For OP, Windows provides the JumpList feature for the WDM task bar. You can reestablish a JumpList for any of the LibreOffice (soffice.exe) module launchers by pinning them to the Windows Taskbar. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/pin-apps-and-folders-to-the-desktop-or-taskbar-f3c749fb-e298-4cf1-adda-7fd635df6bb0#WindowsVersion=Windows_10 Also, the 6.4 release went End of Life November of 2020, you really should be working with more current release. 24.2 or 7.6 download links available here: https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download-libreoffice/ Install a more current release, reestablish the JumpList and see if that resolves your issue and if so change status to Not A Bug.
