Description Carlo Castillo 2024-02-17 03:58:34 UTC
Description:
In the window that pops up when I select File | Export to PDF, I would appreciate seeing the "Pages:" radio button automatically selected when I click on the field that accompanies it. As of today (Windows 11 Pro, LibreOffice 24.2.0.3), you have to click the radio button first before the field can accept any input.

Nothing big, just a small behavioral change.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. From an open Calc spreadsheet, select File, then Export as PDF
2. In the window that appears, under General | Range, I would like the "Pages:" option radio button to be automatically selected if I click on the input field right beside it.

Actual Results:
As of now, clicking the field does nothing, as you have to first click the Pages radio button before the field can accept input.

Expected Results:
Clicking the field should automatically select the Pages radio button, because clicking the field already signifies you want to export just specific pages of your Calc document.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
I have not tried this with Writer or Impress, but I have a feeling the same behavior is present there as well.

I have copied the Windows 10, LO 24.2.0.2 info below, but the behavior definitely appears in Windows 11 and LO 24.2.0.3, as well.

You can set up your own reports as new.

Miguel means that you should _not_ set your own reports as NEW; someone else should do it, confirming it as an actual bug, or as a reasonable enhancement request.

OTOH, this is an enhancement request, rather than a bug report, so it is not such a big issue to set a RFE as NEW. Either way, it is better to let someone else set it as NEW, but especially when it is a bug report (rather than a RFE).
