Description maurizio fabbri 2024-02-13 10:21:26 UTC
In smart working we execute a remote installed libreoffice.
If we open a DOC/DOCX file all menus are shown only as a white box.
If I enter in tool-option the first screen is shown correctly but if I move under submenus it remains in the first screen.
If I must go in color options I must enter in tools-options, select color and close.
If I return in tool-options now I see color options.
All drop-down menus aren't shown.
If I move color scheme of local pc to dark mode menus are shown agaib, but the next time all returns to fail state.
This is only with DOC files, with standard libreoffice files all work fine.

I've tryed in safe mode and the problem remains. Disabled openGl and OpenCl, skia, hardware accelerators, ecc with no result.

I have a problem with hypovision, an unser with large icons and font large ( 180% ) working in libreoffice via a rdp connection ( not in the remote machine desktop but in local desktop, the user prifile is in the remote machine ) show white box instead menus, and isn't refreshing the screen while I edit the text.
To view what I've writen I must write the document to force a screen full refresh.
Generally if I delete the user profile it works fine for about 5 minutes and next the problem came out again.
In a first time it seems affected only opening a DOC files, but we have verifyed that the problem is with all file types.
In a first time I supposed it was a magnifyer problem (400%) but id I work with magnifyer at 100% it's the same.

Maurizio, it seems, your're using an old version of LO. Could you please retest with LO 24.2. Is the bug still present there?
