Description: I just wanted to make a short Text using LibreOffice 7.5 but it always nags me with a newer Version is available. Then I thought oké if you wish so I "Update" it. I had to download a few Files instead of pressing an Update Button or so. There was no installer or something, one had to learn programming to update. After an Hour I "updated" LibreOffice and I wanted to finally start editing the Text, then Linux MX asked me open it with 7.5 or 7.6 :-( So with every "Update" you get just another Version? In the Documentary is not a single Word about uninstalling. How can I uninstall one or all Versions? Actual Results: It didn't Uninstall Expected Results: There should be a way for users (not programmers) to uninstall it or even better to update it without making new Copies every Time Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 7.6.4.1 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: e19e193f88cd6c0525a17fb7a176ed8e6a3e2aa1 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.10; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); UI: de-DE Calc: threaded
Was 7.5 also installed from The Document Foundation provided packages? If you are not comfortable dealing with such separate packages, you should stick to the package provided by your distro.
