Description Denis 2024-01-17 04:41:18 UTC
In LibreOffice Calc, it does not appear possible to dynamically link a cell [in a destination workbook] to a named range of cells in another [source] workbook in such a way as to provide a drop-down list and validation of the entered value in a cell in the destination workbook, which is possible when the cell and the named range are both in the same workbook.

Even pasting with link and using the DDE function is unsuccessful, as these methods do not support using a named range.

Using external link don't work either.

It look like an important doing to do as many users are looking to do so all around in web.

Please attach a sample file, and paste the information in Menu/Help/About LibreOffice, there is an icon to copy.

Can it be bug 64131? Example file would answer the question.
