Description simactest 2023-11-22 19:41:15 UTC
Description:
Please add ability to start row at 0. I found convoluted instructions on how to do this in Excel but not for Calc. I understand why people or businesses may not want to start at 0 because most already start at 1. But for home users who are not sharing with others it would be good to be able to see how many rows there are at a glance without having to -1 when you see the bottom. I am not talk about using ROW() but just dragging down and visually seeing. It is more convenient to have the rows match the content. Headers should be at 0. Thank you

Actual Results:
There is no 0 row

Expected Results:
have a 0 row for headers

Reproducible: Always

About what headers are you referring?
Comment 2 simactest 2023-12-13 17:45:07 UTC
sorry by headers i mean when creating a spreadsheet, usually i (and i assume most people) put the headers of their columns in row 1. So headers would be for example

1 Name age city zipcode
2 matthew 22 new york

so i was hoping it could instead be

0 name age city zipcode
1 matthew 22 newyork 49202
2 jessica 73 bevery hills 90210

of course it does not need to be default, but at least an option to have a row 0 for spread sheet please

Please, could you show or link the convoluted solution in Excel.
