Description:
Hello LO community, I've come to you because I'm experiencing a very restrictive problem with LibreOffice. I've just started using this software (version 7.1.8.1) in my new job, so I'm far from up to speed. My problem is as follows: I regularly work from home and when I do, I connect my computer to my personal screen to work. However, LibreOffice has a horribly slow frame rate on my home screen, so I have a really long delay that I don't really appreciate. I should point out that my computer is a MacBook Air with an M2 chip and 8 GB of ram and LO normally works very well on this Mac, in fact when I'm in the office, with the desktop screen, I don't have any problems (it's a Samsung but I don't know the reference). As far as my screen is concerned, I'm connected via HDMI 2.0 (as I am at the office), and I have a resolution of 2560*1440 (slightly lower than that of the Mac, I think) and 144Hz (KOORUI brand - 27E6QC). I checked in the Mac's monitor options and my screen is stuck at 60Hz because the Mac is in 60Hz. I should also point out that all the other applications and software work perfectly on my screen, I only have this problem with LO. Moreover, when I'm connected to my screen, LO is very, very slow on my screen, but if I switch the LO window to the Mac screen, everything works fine, so the problem seems to be linked to my screen. I've tried downloading LO on my personal PC (MSI brand under Windows 10) and everything works fine with my built-in screen and my second screen (with the same HDMI 2.0 connection). So I'm a bit lost, I've never encountered this type of problem before, I hope you can help me....

Please don't set up as new your own reports, usually someone else must confirm the issue.

OTOH, please try with a newer version, I think, specially with mac, that lot of work have been done.
