Description steve 2023-08-30 11:08:35 UTC
Description:
Not sure what the reasoning was to add a frame around a write document for LibreOffice Viewer on Android but it looks out of touch with contemporary UI designs. Can it just be removed?

Steps to Reproduce:
Look at writer document in LibreOffice Viewer. (see attached screenshot)

Actual Results:
Frame around writer documents.

Expected Results:
No frame around writer documents.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

To be sure: Do you mean the outermost (dark grey) frame?

(From what I can see the desktop version also has a tiny border and a bit of a "shadow" (?) around it, but not such an extra frame in addition.)

Certainly there needs to be some sort of frame around the document to separate it from the background. That separating frame on desktop version of LO is much thinner while on the android viewer the fame is really thick. Maybe that grey frame on android is identical to the frame on desktop but is enlarged by a large quantity?

Thanks for the clarification. The request definitely sounds reasonable, setting to NEW.
Without analyzing, I can't tell where all the borders/frames come from.
