Options-LibreOffice-View-Visibility-Menu icons is set to hide, but File-Recent documents menu still shows icons beside file names on

No such problem on linux.

The option was removed in 7.6: bug 152898

The icon visibility should be controlled by the operating system. There are also expert options: bug 123265 comment 62, but I could not get them to take effect in my tests.
