Open the form for input data.
have a look at the two field for multi line text.
No background will be shown, but it is defined as white background.

Following might be the same reason:
Switch to next record in the form.
Content in both controls wont be refreshed. New content is shown with transparent background over the old content.

Background in KDE with LO 7.6.0.0.alpah1

Seems the bug only appears together with KDE. When starting the same document with
SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen
all works well.
But have a look at the screenshot: Have zoomed from 120% to 100% to get a smaller screenshot. Now it shows the content for 120%, 110% and 100%.

Bug also appears with LO 7.5.4.2, doesn't appear with LO 7.5.3.2

I have the same problem:

Operating System: openSUSE Leap 15.5
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.9
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.103.0
Qt Version: 5.15.8
Kernel Version: 5.14.21-150500.55.36-default (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11
Processors: 2 × AMD A4-4000 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics
Memory: 7.0 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: AMD ARUBA

It appeared in the last few weeks after KDE update.

Switched this Bug to Writer bugs, because it will also appear in normal Writer forms. See bug 155636 and the attachment
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=191959
as a Writer form
and how it looks in KDE:

Retesting for the error described below did not reveal any new findings. The error still exists.
There are further inconsistencies in the area of the text fields.
There are three options to choose from on text fields. However, only the “flat” option is saved. It is not possible to display fields with the 3D option after save-close-open.

Please don't change the version. It should be the earliest version with this buggy behavior and this is LO 7.5.4.2.

The behavior still exists, the regression is detected and the field is still unusable with Linux/KDE.

Screenshot of multiline box. Only switched sidebar off…

Have a look about this funny bug: Won't show only the content of different rows of data in one field. Also shows the content of sidebar when opening the form. Doesn't repaint the background so the sidebar will appear twice inside the control, because I have closed the sidebar.
