Description:
The mailmerge wizard in LibreOffice Writer is great but it does not allow editing of the fields very well. If I accidentally type a character then it's there to stay. Delete does not function. Sometimes removing a field will produce unexpected results. It doesn't allow some characters.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to the mailmerge wizard
2. Edit fields, try to use delete, try to remove fields
3. Move fields around and it should be clear

Actual Results:
Edit fields in mailmerge can be very trial and error as the delete doesn't function.

Expected Results:
The fields were missing the brackets and didn't line up correctly.
