Description stehlampen 2023-02-11 18:14:54 UTC
Description:
I had LibreOffice in version 7.4.2.3 and wished to upgrade to version 7.5.0.3.

LibreOffice was already the standard program to open Microsoft Office Files. Therefore, the installation step to choose the default program for Microsoft Office files should only appear if LibreOffice is not already the standard program for all Microsoft Office file type. In addition, only those items should be displayed which are not opened by LibreOffice by default.

A second unnecessary thing: If it occurs that there are things to do during installation which require a restart, the installation routine should follow the guideline: Ask only once. At the moment, I am asked three times that proceeding would require a restart -- despite I have given the allowance to restart already after being asked the first time.

Since I had not the time to test all installations, the "affected version" property gives the earliest possible.

Steps to Reproduce:
Install LibreOffice.

Actual Results:
Unnecessary step: file-type association
Being informed that continuing requires restart multiple times.

Expected Results:
File-type association only asked if necessary.
Being informed that continuing requires restart one time.

Reproducible: Always
