Calc-UI-Edit menu-cell protection tick

This is how ver. 7.3.6.2 works.
Ver. 7.4.2.3 should be similar other wise it is difficult to decide.

calc-UI-edit menu-cell protection-ver. 73.6.2

The attachment is using ver. 7.3.6.2.

In ver. 7.4.2.3, there is NO tick in front of "cell protection" selection, so it is difficult to decide.
Comment 3 George Tzan 2022-10-28 15:13:56 UTC
The tick mark is actually a prefix NOT a suffix. Sorry!

As requested.
----------------------------------------
Version: 7.5.0.3 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: c21113d003cd3efa8c53188764377a8272d9d6de
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 22000; UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win
Locale: en-US (en_CY); UI: en-US
Calc: CL threaded
------------------------------------------

Additional Info:
With a newly created user profile there is NO problem.

Working with this new profile, if you customize the "Edit Menu" and you first remove and then add again the "Cell Protection" item then the problem occurs.

Also the problem occurs if you just add the "Cell Protection" item in the cell context menu.

I see you have Skia/Vulkan there. Does it make a difference, if you deactivate Tools - Options - LibreOffice - View - Use Skia for all rendering? If so, you could attach C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\LibreOffice\4\cache\skia.log (replace User with your user name)
Comment 8 George Tzan 2023-03-07 07:56:13 UTC
As per your request "Options - LibreOffice - View - Use Skia for all rendering" deactivated.
No difference at all. Problem is there.

The problem can be reproduced in Safe Mode.
You have to follow the process described in my last comment and repeated below:
========================================================================
Load in Safe Mode.
Edit->Cell Protection is OK. Indicates with a tick, the current cell protection attribute.
Customize Edit menu. Remove and then Add again Cell Protection item.
Edit->Cell Protection is a fix lock and does not indicate the current cell protection
