Description onyx 2022-08-12 09:30:18 UTC
Description:
I just brought home a used but functional Konica Minolta c284e Copier/Printer, with 4 paper trays and Bypass tray. In the Printer Settings I have for this printer only Auto, Tray 1, Tray 2, Bypass Tray. But other applications on this machine do have access to all the trays, eg WPS Office. I have confirmed this issue on my machine (Archlinux current), and my wife's (Linux Mint 16.04), so have a snapshot at both ends of the age of Linux. I tried Writer and Calc.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Konica drivers from their website here : https://cscsupportftp.mykonicaminolta.com/DownloadFile/Download.ashx?fileversionid=29727&productid=1609
2. Set up printer with the 210 paper tray kit.
3. Set printer in LO, check the paper trays available.

Actual Results:
Auto/Tray1/Tray2/Bypass Tray are available.

Expected Results:
Auto/Tray1/Tray2/TRay3/Tray4/Bypass Tray are available.

Reproducible: Always

Thank you for the report.

Could you please:
- test again with a supported version of LibreOffice (7.6 currently)
- share the PPD file for this printer, located in /etc/cups/ppd/
- paste here the full version information from Help > About LibreOffice

Much appreciated!
