do you have a HiDPI (Retina) display? I can't repro it in Version: 7.5.0.0.alpha0+ / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 8580cbdc19224bc2a467535cc527cd28b0f30879 CPU threads: 4; OS: Mac OS X 12.5; UI render: Skia/Metal; VCL: osx Locale: ru-RU (ru_RU.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded I have 1920x1080 resolution display here
Hello Roman I have an Apple HD LG 27in display and a cheap LG 27in display connected to my Mac Mini Intel running macOS Monterey 12.4. It is the same problem on both displays. There is no problem with my two small laptops that are running Ubuntu and Windows 11. Regards Peter

Both displays are connected at the same time. The Apple display is the main display. I have tried separate connections and the zoom problem still happens. PeeWee
No repro for me with Version: 7.3.5.2 / LibreOffice Community (Arm silicon compiled version) Build ID: 184fe81b8c8c30d8b5082578aee2fed2ea847c01 CPU threads: 8; OS: Mac OS X 12.5; UI render: default; VCL: osx Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR.UTF-8); UI: fr-FR Calc: threaded Using MacbookPro M1 connected to 27" Apple Thunderbolt 3 display.
Also no repro with Version: 7.5.0.0.alpha0+ / LibreOffice Community (Intel x64) Build ID: 5df1bb4b1b222be00d25097660c4ee33542896ea CPU threads: 8; OS: Mac OS X 12.5; UI render: default; VCL: osx Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded Using MacbookPro M1 connected to 27" Apple Thunderbolt 3 display.
This zoom problem is for Impress and Draw 7.4 for LO7.4 when used in macOS 12.4 Monterey running on a Mac Mini with Intel silicon.
(In reply to PeeWee from comment #9) > This zoom problem is for Impress and Draw 7.4 for LO7.4 when used in macOS > 12.4 Monterey running on a Mac Mini with Intel silicon. No repro either with 7.4.0.1 / LibreOffice Community (x86_64 build) Build: 43e5fcfbbadd18fccee5a6f42 CPU Threads : 8; OS : Mac OS X 12.5 UI render: Skia/Metal; VCL: OSX fr_FR (fr_FR.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded on Mac Mini M1 Arm silicon with output to external display resolution (LC32T55): 1920 x 1080 So, is this a problem with your LO profile, or your Intel graphics hardware ?
Hello Alex Your question So, is this a problem with your LO profile, or your Intel graphics hardware ? I do not know the answer. My solution at the moment is to use LO 7.3.4 on my Mac Mini Intel running macOS Monterey. There is no zoom problems. I do use a laptop running Ubuntu 20.04 and LO 7.4.0 to test the software as I am writing the instructions. No zoom problem. I have tested LO 7.4.0 on a MacBook Pro running MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6 and there is no zoom problem with Impress or Draw. My assumption is that LO 7.4.0 has a problem with macOS Monterey 12.4. Regards PeeWee
Further info on the zoom problem. In LibreOffice > Preferences > LibreOffice > View, I have deselected the options "Use anti-aliasing" and "Use Skia for allrendering", then restarted LO 7.4.0. So far there has been no zoom problem while using LO Writer, Impress, and Draw. In my opinion, there is a problem with anti-aliasing and Skia rendering when using LO 7.4 in macOS 12.4 Monterey.
I have a similar problem with Impress, when using an external screen, either when presenting, or moving a window from one screen to another. It looks like the screen resolution is not set correctly: on 2 different set-ups, I have observed opposite effects: - either a blown-up display showing only the upper-left corner of the slide. - or a window only occupied in the upper left corner by a miniature of the slide (screen copy). This only occurs using the skia rendering.

Created attachment 184195 [details] Screen copy of a presentation with a video, The video is at the right place, the rest of the slide is squeezed in the upper-left corner.

Polite ping: is this reproducible in macOS 13.6.1 and or 14.1 with current LO versions? If yes, which graphics hardware are you using? Is an external monitor involved in your setup? I am unable to reproduce on Version: 24.2.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: b40e469887d973e1eea242749a90c3c2370da3a5 CPU threads: 8; OS: macOS 13.6.1; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: osx Locale: en-US (en_DE.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded with an intel mac + external monitor by opening draw or impress as per original description.
No zoom problem in macOS 14.1 Sonoma or 10.15.7 Catalina using LibreOffice 7.6.2.
Thanks for your effort re-testing this and confirming it can no longer be reproduced. Closing as worksforme as we do not have a specific commit for the fix.
