Description Eyal Rozenberg 2022-06-20 18:35:59 UTC
I want to be able to make an Impress/Draw object partially transparent. Pretty simple, right? Except - we can't. We need to separately set the transparency of:

1. The object area
2. The object text
3. The object line

and they're set in different places.

I want to set all of them together; or have an additional, global, transparency factor; or be able to link them; etc.

This is a complicated one because each is a different property.

I'm not sure the global transparency you proposed would be ODF compliant.

It may not be ODF-compliant - but I believe it's quite natural for a user to want to make an entire object partially-transparent, not just one aspect of it.
