Impress window with bug manifesting

I'm working on a presentation. After switching back and forth a bit between slides, and with the sidebar open (for animations I think), I click the top-right x button, which should close the sidebar. But - while it disappears, white empty placeholder space somehow remains.

Pressing the sidebar choice buttons and pressing x again did not help. Neither does resizing, changing the zoom level, or switching from Normal to another view.

I have already experienced this bug in the past, but it's very rare. I also could not produce steps that always cause the bug. This is why I've never reported it.

Today I did a lot of testing with the Animations sidebar using Impress 7.4 but could not reproduce this bug.

Can you provide a series of steps that are certain to cause this issue?

I wish I could. When I shut down LO and restart it, I can't reproduce.
