Description bjcorso101 2022-05-17 16:45:10 UTC
Description:
Sometimes when I scroll through a writer document the text is blacked out with large black boxes that prevent me from seeing the text. If I close the document and reopen it it may go away, but eventually it will return. When this occurs, nearly all of the text is blacked out and will reappear sometimes if the text is highlighted.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open document
2.scroll through document
3.black bars appear over text preventing text visibility

Actual Results:
Once the document is opened and I scroll through the document, the text becomes hidden by black boxes that cover most if not all of the text present in the document. If I highlight the covered text it will reappear with black boxes on the sides of the text, however it will not completely remove the black boxes from the document.

Expected Results:
Not produced black boxes over my text.

Reproducible: Sometimes

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
I am running Libreoffice 7.3.2.2 on MacOS 12.0.1 with Apple M1 silicon on a MacBook Air M1.

Perhaps you have this activated: Tools - Options (LibreOffice - Preferences on macOS) - LibreOffice - View - Use Skia for all rendering. If yes, does it help, if you turn it off?

Please copy and paste here the contents of your Help - About (LibreOffice - About on macOS) by clicking the copy button. This allows us to know more about your system.

Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED after you have provided the information.
