Please don't set up your own reports as new, someone else must do it. One question by bug report. Test with a clean profile, Menu/Help/Restart in Safe mode, about the open speed. You can open pdfs with LibreOffice, they are opened in Draw, even edited, but this not a pdf's editor software.
How is the situation with version 24.2? Set to NEEDINFO. Change back to UNCONFIRMED, if the problem persists. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.
