Description rstewart@ptd.net 2022-03-19 22:24:32 UTC
Description:
The focus seems to stay with the slide, in the Slide Pane, rather than on the slide text, when clicking on the first bullet of an existing slide and pressing Ctrl+End.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click at the beginning of the first bullet in an existing slide.
2. Press Ctrl+End (also Ctrl+Shift+End).

Actual Results:
The slide moves to the end of the presentation.

Expected Results:
Obviously, with focus on the text in the bullets, Ctrl+End should move to the end of the last bullet, and if Shift is also depressed, all should be selected. The slide, in the Slide Pane, should not have focus.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
I don't know what other shortcuts might act upon the slide rather than the bullet text, but I wouldn't be surprised but what others, like Ctrl+Home, would behave similarly, since it seems like a focus issue.

Not reproduced on Linux with 7.2 or the latest, but I can't test on Windows right now.

I cannot reproduce on Windows either

But my keyboard is a little different. My End key is the same as my PgDn key and in order to use End I have to press Fn+PgDn. But when I press Ctrl+Fn+PgDn the cursor moves to the end of the last bullet, selecting all if Shift is also pressed. Which is the expected behaviour.
