Writer file showing issue with sidebar scrolling.

Version: 7.1.5.2 / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 85f04e9f809797b8199d13c421bd8a2b025d52b5
CPU threads: 2; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-GB (en_GB.UTF-8); UI: en-GB
Calc: threaded

1. Open the attached Writer file.
2. Tile the program window to the bottom half of the screen.
3. Place the cursor in the first pargaraph – which is bulleted.
4. Now try to scroll down the list of paragraph or character styles in the sidebar.

EXPECTED RESULT: All entries in the sidebar lists should be accessible.
ACTUAL RESULT: Depending on the size of your screen, the lowest entries are not accessible due to the list toolbar at the bottom of the window.

Thank you for reporting the bug. It seems you're using an old version of LibreOffice. Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.

Still the same issue with this version.

(BTW, the reason I'm having to use an older version is because of Bug 145182)

LO 7.4.0.0.alpha

The issue is a little better in 7.4.0.0.alpha; but still not resolved.

AFAICS, this issue ONLY affects the program when vertical space is restricted , e.g. when the window is tiled (my laptop screen is 15 ins). The program does not seem to be taking into account the space occupied by the status bar and lower toolbar (in te case of lists). This causes the entries at the end of the list to be inaccessible by scrollbar, and, in fact, the scrollbar disappears under the status bar / bottom toolbar when it gets to near the end of the list.

The screenshot shows the problem: there are still several entries hidden but the scrollbar can go no further (and in fact is hidden by the bottom toolbar).

I think the first time I tried, the scrollbar did not appear until after I resized the Sidebar, but upon further tries it always appeared. It does not go below the visible space for me.

R. Green, is the problem still present in an actual version of LO?
